Peperomia Argyreia Watermelon House Plant commonly known as the Watermelon Peperomia, is a trendy and eye-catching house plant that is gaining popularity among indoor gardening enthusiasts. With its unique foliage resembling watermelon rinds, this plant adds a touch of vibrancy to any space.

 

LIGHT

Peperomia Argyreia thrives in bright, indirect light, making it suitable for most indoor environments. However, it should be shielded from direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. 

 

WATERING

should be done in a controlled manner to prevent over-watering or drought. The plant prefers slightly moist soil, but it's important to let the top inch of soil dry out between waterings. It's better to underwater than to overwater this plant, as excessive moisture can lead to root rot.

 

HUMIDITY

Watermelon Peperomia prefers moderate to high humidity levels. To cater to its needs, you can use a humidifier or place the plant on a water-filled pebble tray. Misting the leaves occasionally also helps maintain adequate moisture.

 

FEED

Fertilizer can be applied once a month during the growing season (spring and summer), following the package instructions. During fall and winter, reduce the feed.

 

Remove the brown or damaged leaves( as they will not turn green again).

 

You can use a ceramic planter/pot or cover pot for this indoor house plant.
